No, not really. It was actually the Wednesday before Easter. Joel came home from an Area Director overnight and Mary Kate and I had a surprise Easter egg hunt for him. We sent him all over the house looking for eggs with little poems in them that would lead him to the next egg. The prize egg had this clue in it..."Another birthday to remember, sometime in late November. In the midst of Georgia football season; But to miss a game, there's no better reason. Now, here's a little something to chew (bubblegum) while you get ready for baby #2."
We're extremely excited about another baby on the way. I'm 11 weeks pregnant with the due date set for November 20th (even though, I think it's more like Nov. 23rd). We just started telling people (other than family), so don't have your feelings hurt if you didn't know. Mary Kate and #2 will be about 19 1/2 months apart. As we think about having another baby, we wonder how we can love another one as much as we love Mary Kate or how could another baby possibly be cuter and more beautiful. I guess this will be another lesson from the Lord about how much He loves each and every one of His children.
We send this news out with bittersweet joy as we have many friends and family that are experiencing difficult situations with babies and pregnancies. Know that as we pray for our little baby, we are also praying for long-awaited pregnancies to happen, for healing to take place, and for babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.

As the grandmother of the most precious little girl in the world, I too have wondered if I can love another grandchild as much. However, I have been assured by grandmothers everywhere that it is most certainly possible. I look forward to loving lots of grandchildren to love and spoil.

We are so excited for all 3 of you! You are right in wondering how you could possibly love another child as much as you love your first...but it happens...just another lesson in how amazing God's love is. We will be praying for you as you go on this wonderful journey. Love to you all.

Omigosh, congratulations! :) That is so awesome! Even though Jackson is such a stinker, I find myself getting baby hungry. Again.
So much fun though. And it is definitely hard to understand how you can love another baby as much as the first until that baby enters your family. And then it will all make sense. And it will be awesome, and wonderful, and challenging, and fun. All at the same time!
