Aunt Hermy Wormy Came to Visit!

We had a great time last weekend when Aunt Stephanie drove from Charleston and Granna came up from Columbus to spend the weekend. Because Joel and I live so close to our family, it is rare to have them come for overnight visits, so it was a special treat for me. Mary Kate had so much fun playing with them and showing them all of her new tricks. If you're wondering where Stephanie got the name "Hermy Wormy," it's another creation by our Grandaddy.

On Friday, Mary Kate got to spend the day with her Grandmama (Joel's mom), while I subbed. I was thrilled to find out that MK did great while I was gone, but a little sad that she didn't seem to miss me very much. She must have been having fun with Grandmama.

Joel and I are enjoying another weekend in Macon. We have NEVER EVER EVER, in our 5 1/2 years of marriage, stayed in town so many weekends in a row. Our streak will come to an end next weekend when Joel takes kids to Sharp Top Cove.
