The Chase

What is it about being chased? We all love to be chased, whether it's as a little baby with our daddy chasing us, as a child playing chase with our friends, or as an adult being chased by our future mate. I love watching this because it reminds me of the way our Abba chases us throughout our life. I think of the way that He continually runs after us asking, "Where are you going, Joel?" He runs and runs, never tiring of us, and when He's finally able to pull us into His arms, He can't help but plant a kiss on our face. What joy the Father finds in chasing after us! I know a little about it, because I love chasing my little girl!
