Hallelujah for an empty tomb and that we serve a living God. We had fun celebrating Mary Kate's second Easter in Columbus with family. MK is unique in that she gets 2 Easters before her first Birthday since she was born on Good Friday last year. We were blessed to get some time with Joel's parents before they left for Colorado. They will be in Colorado Springs for 3 months being trained in praying and healing as they have felt called to return to full time status as missionaries with the Navigators. We will miss seeing them, but we know that they'll miss seeing Mary Kate even more, so we plan to do lots of blogging and maybe some skyping t
o keep them updated. My mom came over to join us for Easter lunch and we all watched MK open up her Easter basket. She got so excited when she discovered that Cheerios were hidden inside her eggs. Mary Kate had a big weekend as she took her first couple of steps on Saturday. She's taken a few everyday since then, so I'm sure we'll be running after her very soon. You can also see her top two teeth now with two more coming in beside them. We're looking forward to going to Charleston next weekend to visit Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Joe, run in the Cooper River Bridge Run, and celebrate MK's FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!
