The Beach

We just had a fabulous week at the beach with our family. It was fun to have so much time in the pool with the kids and see how good they got at swimming in just a few days. I think Ford could jump nonstop all day and never get tired of it. Mary Kate loved showing everyone how she can swim. Although, it looked a little more like swamp thing trying to swim. It was a treat to have my mom and Joel's parents join us throughout the week and get some beach time with the kids. Joel and I also celebrated our 9th anniversary. We went to eat at Barbara Jeans, where I had one of the best meals ever. We both agreed that this has been our favorite year of marriage so far. Some of the reasons we came up with are...sabbatical (of course), doing away with TV, doing direct ministry together, and praying more intentionally for each other. Can't wait to see what our 10th year has in store.
