My Mom and I headed to Bolton with the kids this past weekend while Joel had a much needed relaxing weekend at the beach with some other YL staff. I love that Mary Kate gets to spend some time in Bolton with my Grandparents. It was always my favorite place growing up. I have so many special memories there and I hope she and Ford have some of their own. I only wish that she could have known Bopsy, my great grandmother. It's always a little sad to visit Bolton and see her house and know that she's not there.
Mary Kate had a fun time playing with Victoria and going to her birthday party.
Ford would not stop rolling on top of Gabriel. It was funny and a little scarey.
Mary Kate is crazy about her Uncle Charles.
We made a visit to the zoo while we were there. If you ask MK what she saw at the zoo, she'd say "the scarey old man."

Those girls are going to have so much fun at the beach! We'll need extra energy to keep the boys out of trouble while we're there.
Glad you got to visit some of your family. I have to hear about the zoo and "The Scary Old Man". That is a great pic of Ford and Joel.
Okay, I love that last picture...Ford looks totally like Joel to me! I wish my kids knew their grandparents and grandparents better too!
