C'est le pied is a french expression for 'it's the life" or "it's the best". It literally translates as "it's the foot." Well, there hasn't been a lot of good about Joel's foot lately. His staph infection hasn't gotten much better, but it's not getting worse either. We're on vacation with my family at the beach this week, but Joel hasn't been able to play with us on the beach, which has been a little disappointing. Hopefully, it will be back to normal soon. I think the only pro to him being a gimp is that he's had plenty of time to finish my birthday present, which was editing the past 2 years of video tape and putting them on DVDs for me. He did a great job and I will always treasure them. Thanks, Joel. I can't wait to watch them again.

We were able to enjoy of few days with Joel's parents, which is always fun and relaxing.

I must admit, I saw the title and thought, hmm... she seems to like writing about joel's foot. never new that meant something differently. i guess there's similar strange things in Spanish. Like, Te Quiero Un Huevo means i love you a lot, but literally means "I love you an egg".
