I can't believe our little man is already one month old. This month has flown by. Even though, a brand new baby is so adorable and tiny, I think I've decided that I really like it when they reach a month old. They're not as floppy and fragile, they start to look more like a little person, and you can even catch a smile here and there. Ford has made our first month with him quite delightful. He's really let me ease into have two babies since he's been such a "good" baby. At his one month check-up, he weighed 10 pounds, 1 ounce and was 22 inches long, so he's growing great!
To celebrate Ford's one month birthday, Mary Kate got her first haircut. We went to one of those cutesy places where she got to sit in a car, play with toys, get her picture made, and take a lock of hair home with her. Her entourage was there to watch her, which included Mommy, Daddy, Ford, Granna, Uncle Joe, Aunt Stephanie, and Aunt Rebecca! She had a blast. I don't think she ever realized that they were cutting her hair. Me, on the other hand, teared up as I saw her hair falling to the ground. I actually miss the mullet. Anna, Joel is going to attempt to get some video of it on here for you. I know you've been wanting to see some video footage, but Joel hasn't had much time for editing lately.
Last night, Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Joe came to stay at our house. Mary Kate looooooves her Uncle Joe. She says his name all the time and, for a long time, was the only person that she'd point out in pictures. They brought her a fun treat, which was a human sized Gingerbread Man. Mary Kate loved it and immediately started eating it. We had to hide it from her to keep her from eating it. For the rest of the night, she kept saying, "man, man, man" and looking for him.

Your family is so beautiful! I think Ford looks like his Grandaddy :)
i'm mourning the mullet too! NO PRESSURE on the video...it's a totally selfish request that can certainly wait in the midst of babies being born and christmas' and thanksgivings being celebrated! I miss you guys and wish we were there with you guys!!!!
