Fun Times

Here's just a few pics of what we've been up to lately.  Each week keeps getting better and better.  Mary Kate has had a blast running all over camp.  She's been saying some funny stuff lately.  For instance, she kept saying that she wanted to wear her "underwears".  It turns out that she calls her overalls "underwears".  She's also started calling us Mom and Dad instead of Mommy and Daddy.  I don't like that so much.  I usually don't respond until she says Mommy.  She also calls me old lady for some reason.  I don't respond to that either.

Here's MK chowing down on some corn, which she loves.  On that note, I can't keep Ford from eating grass. Here he is snacking on a stick and some grass.  Now that I look at it, it kind of looks like he's smoking a "different kind of grass."
Joel had the morning off today, so we spent it in BV (Buena Vista).  We went to the park by the Arkansas river and had fun climbing on rocks and watching white water rafters and kayakers.

This is MK in the pool swimming all by herself!
Here's MK with Gus Chiggins, her favorite program character.  She used to call him the scary old man.  Then, she went to the opera and watched him become not so scary when he left the dark side to join the good side.  Now, she loves him.  She asks for him all the time.
I'm definitely loving being in Colorado instead of hot and humid Georgia.  We're outside 80% of the time and there are no bugs and no sweat.  Whereas, at home, I'm outside about 20% of the time because you can't be outside for more than 2 seconds without dripping sweat and having mosquitoes and gnats attack you.  We're starting to get really sad thinking about having to leave in a little over one week, which is quite a different feeling than I was having Week 1.

We'll be sad to leave our 'winter' temperatures to re-enter Georgia humidity! But it will be great to see you guys again! We'll wave to Colorado as we pass over, knowing you'll be on a plane the very next day.

WHAT? You don't miss being hit in the face with hot, humid, stickiness when you walk outside? ;)
We miss seeing you guys and are excited for you to come back to Macon. Glad you're having fun!
Too funny about MK calling you old lady. Jackson has taken to calling me "Maam", which I guess is better than old lady :)
When he calls us Mom or Dad, we just call him Jack and that stops the game pretty quickly....maybe if you started responding with "Yes, Mary?" :)
