Isaiah Thomas Lifsey has arrived and he is a cutie pie! He finally came into the world after a long wait on July 10, 2009 at 7:56 am (New Zealand time) weighing 7 pounds 13 ounces. From what I've heard, Anna (Joel's sister) was a rock star through delivery. For those of you wondering...although we haven't actually talked with Dalton and Anna about his name, we seriously doubt that he is named after the infamous basketball star...rather, it is the name that the Lord gave him. It is quite surreal to think that Anna and Dalton have had a baby considering that we never got to actually see her pregnant. None the less, it's for real. I know that Anna and Dalton feel extra blessed to have Anna's parents, Rachel, and Dalton's mom there with them. We wish that we could be there with them, but we'll just have to look forward to, one day, getting to watch Mary Kate, Ford, and Isaiah playing together in the fruit orchards in their back yard in New Zealand. Anna and Dalton, we're so excited for y'all and can't wait to meet the little man in person. Way to go, Anna, for bringing that precious boy into the world. We're so proud to be Uncle Joel and Aunt Katherine, and Mary Kate and Ford are excited to have a cousin. We can't wait to see more pics, so keep them coming. We love y'all!
