CCR Week 3

One of my most favorite people lives in Buena Vista, CO. Sarah and I went to college together, and whenever we have a Colorado assignment we try to meet up. Today, we met half way in Silverthorne and went to an amazing park surrounded by mountains and lakes that had a great playground for the kids to play. It was so much fun to catch up with her and meet her new baby, Mia, who she adopted from Ethiopia. Mary Kate had a blast playing with Eli. I think if we lived closer, they'd be best friends.

(Abel got to go to work with his Daddy today so
he didn't make the trip)

It was raining and freezing for the first two days of camp this week. I felt so bad for the campers. They headed all the way up to the rodeo, did a few events, then got poured on and had to come down early. Here's a picture of redemption, and the days that have followed have been fabulous.

The mountains after the snow were gorgeous!

Mary Kate had fun indulging in some hot chocolate. The whole time that she was drinking it, I thought that she only had one cup. I didn't realize that she figured out how to pour her
own and really had about 5 cups.
