Halloween in Bolton

This past weekend, my mom and I went to Bolton, MS to visit my Nana and Grandaddy. We had to get a load of Christmas gifts over there so that there would be room for all the baby stuff when we go for Christmas. It was an exhausting trip, but so fun to see family. My cousin, Cortney, was in town for the weekend with her little girl, Victoria, who is exactly one month younger than Mary Kate. She is also pregnant with a boy exactly one month behind me. Her sister, Clare, threw her a baby shower. It was fun to see Clare's house and celebrate Cortney's baby boy. The highlight of the weekend, other than getting some yummy fried squash and having a Fish Fry, was trick-or-treating on Halloween. I'm so glad that Mary Kate and Victoria got to do it together. Mary Kate tried to eat all of the candy through the wrapper. We knew it was time to take it away when chocolate started showing up around her mouth. The two funniest moments of the night were when Cortney got scared to death when a bush with a Halloween surprise in it started shaking and talking to her. She screamed so loud! I wish we had it on video. Also, Mary Kate fell down with candy in each hand. She froze with her hands up in the air because she didn't want to drop her candy. It was hilarious! She wouldn't move until someone helped her up. I guess you could say that we had a much better time than Joel did in Jacksonville watching the Dawgs lose to the Gators. I'll be surprised if he ventures down there again any time soon. Click on the pic below to see more Halloween pictures!

13 days left!! Holy Smokes! That's pretty exciting. I'll be holding my breath all the way up until Jess has the baby. If she has the baby in 2009 I'll be owing taxes this year. I was counting on a baby in 2008!! Hope I didn't mess up.
