Calling any prayer warriors out there to lift our friend, Mike Sweeney, up. Sweeney is a friend of Joel's and a co-laborer in Christ. Sweeney is the YL Area Director in Rome, GA. He has recently been diagnosed with a Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma. He is currently undergoing treatment at Emory. Oh-mylanta. I am so sorry. It is so hard to understand how and why some people deal with such difficult trials, but then again we never abandon the knowledge that He loves us and doesn't give us anything that we can't handle. So your friend must be one strong man! We are definitely praying for him.
